The INEX Legend Cars hit the Chilton track for the fifth time this year. 
At the start Michael Mueller (2) charged into the lead with Eric Meyer (45) following in 2nd position.  On lap 2 Tom Fraser (48), Brian Peterson (12), Kevin Brill (92) and
Jim Bucher (17) were involved in an incident that sent Bucher's car violently tumbling and barrel rolling down the back stretch, coming to rest on its lid. After some tense moments Bucher emerged from the car and to the relief of everyone was able to walk to the waiting ambulance.  Bucher's car sustain major damage and had to be lifted off the racetrack. 
On the restart once again Mueller led the field.  By lap three, Jeff Steenbergen (62) tucked his car to the inside of leader Mueller to pull within striking distance for the lead.  A three-car battle developed behind them with Grant Greenfield (37), 
Luke Polzin (11) and Eric Barth (21) racing side by side in front of the grandstand in a great race for third.  A lap later, Mueller and Steenbergen raced down the frontstretch with only inches keeping Mueller in the top spot as Greenfield took third and Barth moved into fourth. At the line in lap five, Barth charged through the competitors and moved into the challenge spot behind leader Mueller just before a caution halted the hard-charging action and relined up the field.   When the green flag flew, Barth wasted no time in taking over control of the race as he passed Mueller on the backstretch to take the top spot.  As Barth focused on distancing his car out in front alone, another caution would pull the field back together.  Just after half-way, the race restarted again with Barth charging out in front with Joe Johnson (22)  and Brill  chasing him down.  Johnson and Brill battled back and forth for control of the challenge position until Brill secured second place. Lap 16 saw Greg Hartlaub (76) move into third.  When the checkered flag flew, Barth charged through to win his fifth A-Main at Chilton this season.  Heat winner Brill followed in second with Hartlaub holding onto third.  Johnson and Peterson rounded out the top five.
