The Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series were in action at The Raceway at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam on Saturday Night. Rain was in the forecast, but held off for all the action to be completed.

Phil Van Tatenhove of Sheboygan Falls grabbed the lead at the start of the 20-lap A-Main with Bethany Wyttenbach of Plain right behind. As the rest of the field diced for position on the multi-groove track, Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City and Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie quickly moved toward the front. Eric Barth and Adam Reed also were in the lead pack. Both Wyttenbach and Weber got by Van Tatenhove on lap six. The first caution of the event came on lap seven for a spin by Mike Mueller of Waupun. Wyttenbach led on the restart with Weber and Van Tatenhove jostling for position right behind. Wyttenbach was working well on the high groove. Weber took command of the second spot using the low groove and went to work on Wyttenbach. As the laps continued to go by, Weber began to put heavy pressure on Wyttenbach for the top spot. The second caution of the event waved on lap sixteen for a spin by Mike Mueller in turn four. The caution set up a four lap dash to the end. Back under green, Wyttenbach and Weber continued their battle up front. As the checkered flag waved, it was Wyttenbach who crossed the line first to record his second win of the season. Weber followed closely behind in second. Point leader, Eric Barth followed in third. Greg Hartlaub moved up from the eighth row to finish in fourth. Adam Reed of Beaver Dam finished in fifth.

Heat number one was the battle of the Wyttenbachs with Joel getting by Bethany with one lap remaining and taking the checkered for the win. Eric Barth led from start to finish to capture the second heat.
