Bethany Wyttenbach charged into the lead of the INEX Legend Car A-main in lap two with Brian Peterson of Mukwonago and Phil VanTatenhove battling behind her for second place. Two laps later, second place belonged to VanTatenhove with Eric Barth moving up to third to begin his battle for second. By lap seven, VanTatenhove and Barth were racing side by side down the front stretch to win the challenge spot. A lap later, Barth took the position by inches but one more lap switched the cars again. Lap nine scored VanTatenhove back in second but Barth did not give up and took over second in lap ten and began his charge at leader Wyttenbach.

By lap 12, Barth caught up to the back of the leader and threw his car to the inside to challenge for control of the race. Wyttenbach chose the high side of the track with Barth on the inner groove. Barth passed Wyttenbach to take over the lead in lap fourteen. A lap later, Warren Ropp passed VanTatenhove to take over third and chase Barth and Wyttenbach. As the competitors charged around the Manitowoc track, Barth took the checkered flag to win the first Legend A-Main at EWSC. Wyttenbach followed in second with Ropp, Joe Johnson and VanTatenhove rounding out the top five.
