The Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series

Rain brought an early end to the racing program at The Raceway at Powercom Park on Saturday night. Before the racing was halted for the evening, the Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series completed their two heat race events.

    

Ed Surprise of Beaver Dam led in the early going of the first heat. However, Phil Van Tatenhove of Sheboygan Falls was running strong and moved up from his third row starting position to overtake Surprise and go onto record his second heat race win of the season at the fast 1/3 mile banked clay oval. Joel Wyttenbach drove to second. Joey Johnson of Slinger was third.

    

Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie rocketed from the back to the front and drove to a comfortable win in heat two. It was also the second heat race win of the season for Weber. In the hotly contested battle for the second position, Adam Reed of Beaver Dam claimed the spot with Eric Barth of Sauk City taking third.

    

The Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series will be back in action at The Raceway at Powercom Park on Saturday night.
