It was a fast track for the Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series at The Raceway at Powercom Park on Saturday night.

Ed Surprise of Beaver Dam jumped into the lead from his outside front row starting position at the start of the 20-lap A-Main. However, pole sitter Ric Mattie of Franksville fought back and led on lap two. One lap later, Eric Barth of Sauk City, who had charged from the fifth row, powered his way into the lead. Meanwhile, Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie quickly sliced his way up through the traffic from the back of the pack to take over second on lap six. Weber reeled in Barth and on lap eight took over the top spot. Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City joined Weber and Barth up front and soon began to challenge Weber for the lead. The only caution of the event came with ten laps in for an incident involving Terry Walber of Sheboygan and Loren Zuhlke Jr. of Beaver Dam on the back straight. On the restart, Weber, Wyttenbach and Barth diced for position with Weber and Wyttenbach quickly settling into first and second. Weber and Wyttenbach then engaged in a heated battle for the top spot. With the pair coming coming out of turn four and onto the front straight for the white flag, Weber suddenly slowed with problems and pulled off on the back straight. Wyttenbach took the checkered flag to score his sixth win of the season. Barth crossed the line in second ahead of Warren Ropp of Kalona, IA. Bethany Wyttenbach of Plain drove a strong race and finished in fourth. Kevin Brill of Oostburg came from the sixth row to finish in fifth.

In heat race action earlier in the evening, Brad Weber rocketed from his fourth row starting position to take the lead at the end of lap one and then held off the challenges of Eric Barth to record the win in heat one. Greg Hartlaub of Sheboygan Falls drove home the winner in heat two.
