Eric Barth of Sauk City took over the lead from Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie on lap ten and then held off the late race challenge of Weber to take the win in the 20-lap Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series A-Main at The Raceway at Powercom Park on Saturday night. It was the fourth win of the season for Barth, who took over the point lead in the division.

Kevin Brill of Oostburg led the opening lap before giving way to Greg Hartlaub of Sheboygan Falls on lap two. Point leader going into the evening, Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City, moved up like a rocket from his fifth row starting position to take over second. The caution flag waved with three laps complete for Adam Reed at the entrance to turn three. Hartlaub led on the restart with Wyttenbach right behind. Wyttenbach suddenly slowed with problems on his ride and retired to the pits. As Hartlaub remained out front, Eric Barth and Brad Weber fought for position. They soon began to pressure Hartlaub with Weber getting by to take over the lead on lap seven. Barth moved up into second shortly after and set his sights on Weber. On lap ten, Barth slipped past Weber to take over the top spot. Barth was able to pull several car lengths ahead of Weber. But as the race neared the end, Weber again closed in on Barth to make one last challenge for the lead. Barth proved to have to enough to stay out in front and took the checkered flag ahead of Weber to claim the win. Warren Ropp of Kalona, IA came on strong and finished in third. Bethany Wyttenbach of Plain, fresh off a Pro Division Regional Qualifier win last weekend in Wheatland, MO, had a strong fourth place finish. Joey Johnson of Slinger was fifth.

In heat race action, Greg Hartlaub held off Eric Barth to take the win in heat one. Joel Wyttenbach edged out Brad Weber to score the win in heat two.
