In an exciting race that saw several lead changes, Brad Weber of Rolling Prairie captured the 20-lap Gibbsville Cheese INEX Legends/Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series A-Main at The Raceway at Powercom Park on Saturday night.

Mike Mueller of Waupun grabbed the lead at the start of the event. Greg Hartlaub of Sheboygan Falls quickly moved up and slipped past Mueller to take over the lead on lap two. Brad Weber, who started outside row four, was on the move and on lap five powered his way to the top spot. Weber looked strong as he began to build up a lead. However, a spin by Mueller in turn two on lap eight brought out the first caution of the event. On the restart, Weber led the field followed by Adam Reed of Beaver Dam and Hartlaub. Joel Wyttenbach of Sauk City began to assert himself and soon joined in the battle up front with Weber and Reed. The caution waved for a second time for a spin by Steve Boelter of Verona in turn two on lap fourteen. When racing resumed, the hotly contested battle up front continued with Weber, Reed and Wyttenbach. The trio swapped positions back and forth. In the next couple of laps, it came down to Weber and Wyttenbach dueling for the lead with Weber taking command of the top spot on the final two laps to score the win. It was the first A-Main win for Weber, a former midget driver who is in his first year of legends racing. Joel Wyttenbach finished in second and took over the point lead in the division. Adam Reed finished a strong run and crossed the line in third. Eric Barth of Sauk City drove to fourth ahead of Warren Ropp of Kalona, IA.

In heat race action earlier in the evening, a picture of what was to come took place as Joel Wyttenbach, Brad Weber and Adam Reed registered wins.
