When the green
flag flew for the sixth feature for the visiting INEX Legend
Cars, Dallas Ross (87) charged into the lead with Greg
Hartlaub (76) chasing him down.
By lap five, Kevin Brill (92) moved into third with Grant
Greenfield (37) and past feature winner Eric Barth (21)
joining the top five. Hartlaub tucked his car inside
leader Ross and took over the lead in lap six. A lap
later, Brill and Barth battled side by side for second just
before back-to-back cautions relined up the field with
leader Hartlaub retiring to the pits on the initial caution.
Brill would move to the top spot with five-time feature
winner Barth and Greenfield directly behind him. After
both cautions and the green flag restarted the race, Barth
tucked his car to the inside of Brill to take the lead in
lap nine with Joe Johnson (22) moving into second on the
same lap.
Barth wasted no time in taking command of the rest of the
race and began his charge to the checkered flag. After
building about a half-a-track lead over the field, Barth
charged through the checkered flag to win his sixth feature
with CCRA. Johnson followed in second with Brian
Peterson (12) finishing third. Dave Fraser (7JR),
Jeff Steenbergen (62) rounded out the top five
